We have a 15 pax Chevy Express van with 205k miles. that we use to pull a large camper and horse trailer. We had the transmission serviced and the engine tuned up. Mr Evans recommended hooking it up to a machine that cleans out the intake system. What an improvement! It runs like it did when it was new. And I especially appreciate was the honest, friendly, professional experience and reasonable rates with excellent results. Highly recommend!

This shop is the best in Dothan! The service is timely, friendly, and if it does not need to be fixed they will let you know. Great people from the techs to the management. If you ever need a mechanic in Dothan this is the place to go!

I have used Evans for repairs to my Chevy S10 Blazer before and was pleased with the work done and the professional attitude of the service techs. My brother, who lives out of town, called and asked me who I would recommend in Dothan to look at his Audi TT. He was having troubles with his transmission and had been told the "repair" was to remove and replace the transmission at a cost of $7500.00. I had heard of a service tech at Evans Automotive named Wesley, who was supposed to be great a working on foreign cars. I spoke with Wesley who seemed to be very knowledgeable with foreign cars. I called my brother and recommended Evans to him. He brought his vehicle down and left it with Evans. The repair was done in a timely manner and at a cost of less than $800.00. He is also going to let them do other repairs on the car. I don't regret sending my brother to Evans Automotive. More importantly, this is a shop I recommend to FAMILY. Honest Owner's, Honest Service Techs and they treated my Brother right. I would recommend this shop to anyone looking to have work done.

I just wanted to take a moment to tell everyone my experience with Joe and the Evans Automotive Services shop. I was on my way back Home, after experiencing a trying week in Panama City, as my father passed away. We broke down 10 miles south of Dothan and my vehicle was towed to Evan Automotive. I explained my dilema to the shop manager who quickly was able to examine my vehicle and determine the problem. I had an electrical issue but the immediate fix was to use a higher amp'd fuse. This solution not only got me home during a trying time but I was not charged a penny for this! I can't say enough, how refreshing it is to have experienced the hospitality and the honesty coming from a family owned business. I would recommend this shop to anybody needing service with the confidence of knowing you will be treated fairly and just. Thanks again to Joe and his staff, I really appreciated the help when we needed it so much.

Such a great experience!! Everyone at Evan's is super friendly and accommodating. I went in for an oil change before heading to the office and was actually able to start my workday from their waiting area, thanks to the fresh coffee and wifi access. If wifi and coffee doesn't do it for you, their prices are great AND I was informed that next time they'll pick up my car and drop it off when they're done. It doesn't get better than this!!

Buyer beware their service manager had the guts to tell me he would charge me a hundred and fifty dollars replace my oil pressure sending unit after their mechanic burned it out changing my oil filter gasket.These people will rip you off and dont care.I ended up buying one at auto zone for forty dollars and express oil replaced it for free.I would highly advise you go somewhere else where they are more honest.They need shut these people down.I would never use them or recommend them to anyone!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Evan's told my wife that our car needed upper and lower ball joints, and sway bars replaced soon. They quoted her $1,000. The only thing the car needs is shocks and after having it inspected by two different auto shops, I'll tell everyone I know about their dishonesty. Don't send you wife in for an oil change unless she is mechanically inclined. They'll try to convince those who don't know any better to get expensive, bogus repairs!
