Brought in 1999 Nissan Frontier with 59,000 miles. Haven't used a mechanic in years but after getting the run around on my particular issue, Called Evans and they sounded confident in handling my problem. According to Google I had a parasitic drain as my battery was dying every 2 days. Replaced battery, alternator, at wits end. Previous owner added an auxiliary horn to truck that quit working so just wasn't sure. Dropped it off to Evans and they got me running 24 hours later. Loose alternator belt from stripped bolt. For less than 200$ they fixed my problem and auxiliary horn! One shop told me 110$ per hour electrical diagnostic fee! Also, I thought I needed ball joints. Good to go there to! They told me mine were good. Saved me money and time! Honest as the day is long. Even gave me a lift home. Old school Service at Evans Automotive.

Top Notch and HONEST. Starting with the guy answering the phone. Dropped off for an electrical issue that I thought was more complex than it turned out to be. Previous owner of vehicle hacked into the wiring and according to Google, I had a parasitic drain killing my battery. Ontop of that, I thought that I needed new ball joints. One shop quoted me $110.00 per hour to diagnose electrical problem and be without truck for 2 weeks. Another shop 3 weeks...Took these pros 24 hours! Why am I so detailed on my problem? These guys could have taken me to the cleaners! Ended up being a stripped out alternator bolt that was causing my electrical issues. Hence, making belt loose not charging battery. As to the ball joints they gave me piece of mind. My truck is a 1999 Frontier with under 100,000k on the odometer. Was told ball joints are still hanging in their! Again, a this shop could have made money on that non-issue that I thought was an issue. I'll finish with this: I haven't been to a mechanic in years as I try to do my own work. When I brought in truck I had no way to get home. The guy manning the phone thought they had a wrecker heading to my area and was kind enough to offer me a lift. Turns out the wrecker had already completed their pick up. I was preparing to call a taxi when the owner of this company offered me a ride! Free of charge! Repairs under $200.00, truck done in less than a day, HONESTY, & a Free Ride Home. Ya'll have earned a loyal customer.
